Sweden had 16 IVF clinics (6 public, 10 private) performing approximately 18,000 started IVF treatments resulting in almost 4,000 babies born (3.6% of all births). Own gametes: 11,479 fresh + 5,616 frozen = 17,095 cycles. SET rate 74.1% fresh / 89.3% frozen. Multiple birth rate 5.5% fresh / 3.3% frozen. Blastocyst transfer 11.4% fresh / 30.7% frozen. Patient satisfaction (KUPP 2013): medical care 90%, approach 90%, information 81%, accessibility 80%, participation 67%.
