Abstract

Retrospective review of 246 patient case files (2010 to 2016) from six fertility clinics in Nigeria (four in Lagos, one in Enugu, one in Kogi), reporting outcomes of infertility treatment with NaProTechnology (Natural Procreative Technology, NPT). Objectives were to determine the proportion of conceptions and live births, the time taken to conceive, and the proportion of miscarriages and premature births. Eighty-eight (88) or 35.8% of the 246 women conceived and 65 (26.4%) had live births.

Conclusion

NaProTechnology treatment of infertility in Nigeria yielded conception rate of 35.8% and live birth rate of 26.4%.
