Markdown for many pages

Many pages serve a Markdown version, so an agent can read the content without parsing HTML. There are two ways to get it:

  • Markdown twin: add .md to the page path on the pages that serve one. Library papers: /library/<slug>.md. FAQs: /faqs/<slug>.md. Commentary: /commentary/<slug>.md. Pillar guides: /<slug>.md. Developer portal pages: /connect/<page>/index.md, with the hub at /connect/index.md. The glossary: /glossary.md.
  • Content negotiation: request the normal page URL with Accept: text/markdown and the server returns the markdown version for the same pages.
# the twin
curl https://rrmacademy.org/connect/auth/index.md

# the same page by content negotiation
curl -H 'Accept: text/markdown' https://rrmacademy.org/connect/auth/

The canonical HTML URL for a twin is given in its Link header and footer.
