Double Peak (CrMS)
A double Peak is a cycle in the Creighton Model FertilityCare System in which a woman records two separate Peak-type mucus buildups. The first buildup fades without a period following it, and a second one appears later in the same cycle. The textbook ties the pattern mainly to acute stress.1
A double Peak can throw off the timing of intercourse and of cycle-timed blood tests. A FertilityCare Practitioner reads the chart with her and confirms which buildup marked ovulation.
Stress that pushes ovulation back is clinical information in its own right. The chart is where it shows up.
