JSOG-ART Annual Report 2022

This ART data book on the clinical results of in vitro fertilization, embryo transfer and related treatment in 2022 presents yearly tables and charts of treatment cycles and births for IVF, ICSI and frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET). For 2022, the data book reports 543,630 total treatment cycles, 291,611 transfer cycles, 105,233 pregnancy cycles and 75,172 live-birth cycles. Further charts present multiple embryo transfer rates by the woman's age, the proportion of blastocyst transfer in multiple embryo transfer cycles, and multiple pregnancy rates after multiple embryo transfer for fresh and frozen-thawed embryo transfer. Appendix 1 gives detailed results by age and treatment method for 2007 to 2022, and the document refers readers to the Journal of the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology for details.
