JSOG-ART Annual Report 2023

This ART data book on the clinical results of in vitro fertilization, embryo transfer and related treatment in 2023 presents yearly tables and charts of treatment cycles and births for IVF, ICSI and frozen-thawed embryo transfer (FET). For 2023, the data book reports 561,664 total treatment cycles, 296,104 transfer cycles, 115,554 pregnancy cycles and 82,250 live-birth cycles. Further tables present results by patient age, the breakdown of cycle management methods and the results of artificial insemination with donor sperm (AID), and Table 4 lists 638 registered facilities, 625 responding facilities and a response rate of 98.0%. An appendix reproduces an excerpt of the fiscal 2025 (Reiwa 7) report of the registration and survey subcommittee, including its online individual survey forms, and the document refers readers to the Journal of the Japan Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology for details.
