Endometrial Receptivity Analysis (ERA)

A molecular diagnostic test that evaluates gene expression in an endometrial biopsy sample to determine the personalized "window of implantation" (WOI), the period during which the endometrium is most receptive to embryo implantation. The ERA analyzes the expression profile of 236 to 238 genes related to endometrial receptivity status. In approximately 20 to 25% of women with recurrent implantation failure, the WOI is displaced from the standard timing. A study of 3,605 patients found that clinical pregnancy rate and live birth rate improved after personalized embryo transfer guided by ERA results, particularly in recurrent implantation failure patients.²³²⁴²⁵
