Abstract
The Jahrbuch 2012 of the Deutsches IVF-Register (D∙I∙R), published in 2013 as a special issue (Sonderheft 2) of the Journal für Reproduktionsmedizin und Endokrinologie, presents the registry's data on assisted reproduction in Germany for 2012. The foreword states that the registry's data pool was rebuilt in a new database and that 120 IVF centers had submitted their data by the cutoff date of 7 November 2013. According to the foreword, 80,467 cycles were included in the statistical analysis, and because data did not arrive in time from all IVF centers, not all figures can be compared directly with earlier years. The tables cover results for IVF, ICSI and cryotransfer, results by the woman's age, children born, complications of egg retrieval and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
