Abstract
The Jahrbuch 2013 of the Deutsches IVF-Register (D.I.R), a modified reprint from the Journal für Reproduktionsmedizin und Endokrinologie published in 2014, presents the registry's data on assisted reproduction in Germany for 2013. The foreword states that 130 centers are represented in this edition and that 84,051 cycles from these centers were included in the statistical analysis. The tables report results for IVF, ICSI, TESE and cryotransfer, results by the woman's age, children born, complications of egg retrieval and ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. The foreword calls the rate of documented births per started treatment cycle unsatisfactory, and a special analysis in this edition examines the lost-to-follow-up rate.
