Abstract
This 2024 yearbook of the Deutsches IVF-Register (D·I·R) is based on treatment data for 2023 and 2024 submitted by 139 of its 142 member centers. The foreword gives 131,801 plausible treatment cycles for 2024 and states that the share of frozen-thaw cycles rose further to 37.5%. The focus topic examines results of fresh cycles in relation to AMH level, and a special analysis examines the PPOS (Progestin Primed Ovarian Stimulation) protocol. According to the yearbook, the share of preterm births before the end of the 37th week of pregnancy in 2023 was 14.8% among singletons, 85.6% among twins and 100% among triplets.
