Infertility
Clinically defined as failure to achieve pregnancy after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse (6 months for women 35 years and older). In the RRM framework, infertility is understood as a symptom of one or more identifiable, underlying, treatable conditions, not a diagnosis in itself. Approximately 15% of couples worldwide are affected.35
