DIR Jahrbuch 1996 (Deutsches IVF-Register Annual Report 1996)

This yearbook of the German IVF Register (DIR) presents the analysis of the register's data for the year 1996. The foreword describes a reform of the register decided in Dresden in 1996, under which the register was brought under the umbrella of the German Society for Gynaecology and Obstetrics (DGGG). The yearbook counts 72 register participants and, according to the foreword, names the participating groups and centres for the first time. Its results sections cover IVF, ICSI and cryopreservation and report 14494 IVF treatment cycles and 16233 ICSI treatment cycles for 1996.
