Abstract
This annual report of the Agence de la biomédecine on the vigilance system for medically assisted procreation (AMP vigilance) presents the vigilance declarations received in 2023 and the actions carried out that year. Between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023, the Agence received 368 AMP vigilance declarations from 83 AMP centres. Among the 360 declarations of adverse events, the Agence received 236 declarations of adverse effects and 126 declarations of incidents. The report attributes the lower proportion of adverse effects in 2023 to the Agence having asked AMP centres to stop declaring certain types of adverse effects, notably ovarian hyperstimulation syndromes.
